Seated spinal twist : with one leg crossed over the other, throw the elbow opposite your top leg over the knee as you twist your body at the waist. 2. Pranayama (breathing) : with your leg crossed in front of you or lotos pose and your hand resting on your knees, begin regulating your breathing using techniques like ujjai. 3. Upward dog : lie down on your stomach with your hands places palms beside your shoulders, slowly extend your arms to lift yourself up. 4. Three legged dog : starting on your hands and knees, gently lift yourself up into a downward dog pose, while holding your balance slowly lift one leg up and extend as far as you can to feel a full stretch from your hands to your toes. 5. Tree pose : standing with your arms at your side, shift your weight to one leg while slowly lifting the other to the rest sole on the inside of your opposite thigh, lift arms and bring together over your head and balance. 6. Seated forward bend : sit down on your legs extended in front of you, slowly bend over and touch your forehead to you knees (or get close as close as you can). The choices that we make today, have an impact on how stable our energy is tomorrow. 🕉 One cannot eat junk food, late around, not take responsibility and expect to advance spiritually. 🕉 These days we don’t have to spend a million hours in meditation anymore-it’s the Kali Yuga, but we need to make a daily effort nonetheless. 🕉 With active Kundalini Śakti it is a lot of work: Movement and stillness, beauty and Grace, outdoors and indoors, responsibility and fun. I could go on. 🕉 But one needs to understand that one gets a new physiology with Kundalini and that is a miracle in itself, but that demands that one moves the body, nourishes the spirit and the body and takes care of one‘s emotions. 🕉 Otherwise the whole process goes haywire and then to get back into balance is much tougher. And I speak out of personal experience. When I first started my personal Yoga journey such full dancer pose simply seemed impossible. I couldn't reach my leg up, fell over, didn't have the detailed muscles to hold it besides how could they even get into this position?! So I asked myself how come others can but for me it seems unreachable😣? Kept analysing what abilities I was exactly missing, for each pose I wanted to perform. ...Then I started to focus on enhancing these, no matter how long it would take: splits in every direction, back bends touching hand and feet, shoulder stretches, balance no matter where feet and arms point to, muscles to keep a safe positioning. What was missing? The correct technique to get into the dancer. * D'où je viens (3ème partie /7) * 🌜Malgré la santé retrouvée, mes rêves de voyage sont longtemps restés lettre morte. Certes, je partais chez ma grand-mère à chaque période de vacances . Mais c'était davantage pour profiter d'elle que pour faire la touriste. ⭐ Ma vie était par ailleurs bien calibrée : j'étais ancrée dans ma ville de toujours, travaillais 35h/semaine, avais instauré une petite routine rassurante que j'affectionnais. Mais celle-ci a fini par devenir une cage dorée dont je ne pensais même pas à ouvrir les portes. 🎇 Heureusement, mon frère de coeur, Sergio, avait la bougeotte. Alors, quand notre amie commune nous a proposés de la rejoindre en Grèce, nous n'avons pas hésité une seconde. D'abord Athènes puis l'île d'Égine. 🌟 Ces 17 jours ont changé ma vie à jamais. J'ai reconnecté à quelque chose que j'avais toujours eu en moi : le goût de la découverte et de l'aventure. Une étincelle s'est allumée. Le plaisir de découvrir était si fort ... Je me devais de l'honorer. D'écouter ce que mon cœur me disait. ✨ J'avais 28 ans et des envies plein la tête. Mais comment vivre ces rêves d'évasion lorsque joindre les deux bouts est déjà compliqué ? Il me fallait trouver une solution durable.
